The king of masquerades and gimmicks, the unparalleled jingoistic preacher, anchor, politician, Aamir Liaquat Hussain is nothing short of a legend in Pakistan. From his obscene videos behind the camera to openly threatening Indians, everything he says turns to gold.
Aamir Liaquat Hussain, ever since he joined BOL TV, was being compared to India’s Arnab Goswami, a state anchor who resorts to jingoistic speeches of loud patriotism backed by a fascist tone. Many have gone from hating him to being his fans after the many gimmicks he has changed.
In recent developments, it was in the air and on media, that Aamir Liaquat Hussain was going to join Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf, with a press conference today at Imran Ismail’s house, where party chairman Imran Khan would be present as well.
However, not all went according to plan, as reported by ARY News, Dr. Aamir Liaquat Hussain has just taken a huge U-TURN, something which is already related with PTI, and decided not to join the political party. This has come as a huge shock to Insafians who had already started defending him on social media.
As per ARY, Dr. Aamir Liaquat Hussain said that he would not become a part of PTI or ever join politics again. While the whole party setup waited for him at the press conference, Dr. Aamir ditched it and talked to ARY journalist Kashif Abbasi, telling him that he would never enter politics again.
Now what’s important to note here is that why was the PTI administration so confident on Aamir Liaquat’s entrance into PTI, when Dr. Liaquat himself wasn’t sure? This, indeed, comes as an embarrassing development for PTI.
