Sharif flew from London to Lahore alongside his daughter, Maryam Nawaz on July 13, 10 days ago. He was arrested on arrival at the Allama Iqbal International Airport, flown to Islamabad via a helicopter, and shifted to jail. He is currently serving the sentence awarded to him in the Avenfield properties case along with his daughter and son-in-law Capt Safdar.

Former Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif is presently jailed at Adiala in Islamabad. Due to severe heat and lack of proper drinking water facilities, the ex-PM is suffering from dehydration. This has led to multiple health problems for example, in his kidney. According to sources, he went through a medical check-up by a team of medical officials in his jail. It is yet to be decided whether to shift him in the hospital or not by analyzing his situation.

Mirza Shahid Saleem Baig, the inspector-general of prisons for Punjab, has requested the board to send out the medical report as soon as possible so that further action may be initiated.
He was checked in the jail by a few medical professionals and his reports turned out normal!
Nevertheless, the sources from jail had insisted that the weather has led to dehydration in Sharif’s body. This could have some serious health consequences.
The superintendent for Adiala Jail has reportedly penned a letter to the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) — Islamabad’s largest public hospital — to set up a medical board in light of the former Prime Minister’s health.
However, since the elections are just two days away, people are really not buying it
He is perfectly alright but even he is not then let him die starving there. 22 cror awam is suffering and dieing every day because of there corruption. I would be glas to hear that he died starving for clean water, healthy food and basic medical facilities.

He will most probably be shifted to a hospital for a complete medical check-up and for medical assistance to be provided to him.
