‘THE HAPPY PALACE GRAMMAR SCHOOL’ – one of the best school with more than 15 campuses.

Today, I am going to disclose the bitter truth about how these campuses educate their students, how they misguide parents and the way they are increasing the crime rate as it brings perk of social and economic benefits. I might not tell you my name for security concerns, but let me mention that I was one of the faculty members of this renowned institute once with my 4 friends.

It was hard for me to come up with all these crimes in front of the management that I have seen myself and the most pathetic part is that the management was also involved. Well, I couldn’t risk my job at that time as I was in dire need of it, but I waited long for a good platform to raise my voice and that’s when I came across “PARHLO”.

You would not believe how these schools are being operated. Rather than paying for a school just because they have so many campuses we should better know how they are able to increase campuses. Let me ponder out some issues which every citizen of Pakistan should know,

1. Teachers Are Forced To Give Good Marks To Every Student

Teachers are the ones who are responsible for the fair judgment of students, but teachers over there are forced to pass out students even if they are not capable. I, myself, had recognized many teachers who were correcting the assessment papers and were rewriting it which helps them to pass students with good grades or else they ask students to write it correctly by favoring the teacher and in return, they get good grades.

I once asked the principal that why do you always force teachers not to fail any student? So, the answer I got was, “Beta kia chahtay ho? Maa Baap bacho ko school se nikal den?” That was the time I felt that this is the education system we are paying for. Parents work hard so that after 10 to 15 years, they could sit and enjoy a cup of tea while their children would be able to earn and let their parents live their life, but sadly, this is how our school system is educating the students. This is the question which needs a share of concerns.

2. The Maximum Qualification Of A Teacher Is “Matriculation”

Teachers are the ones who educate students no matter what their qualification is and how she communicates. How does she have teaching skills? How does she know to manage the students and how to increase their knowledge? We need teachers who can work on low salary but with the greater benefits. This is the agenda of HPGS or I would say, the backbone of faculty staff.

A teacher was working there with a maximum qualification of matriculation who was teaching 10th-grade students and was taking more than 10 sections in the school. Is this what you expect from teachers with no qualification? Really. This killed me!! Like, what if my brother was part of that school and what if I would not have been part of that school? So, I would have never known about this crime happening to my brother and the thousands of other students studying over there.

3. Hit The Student, Easy Solution!

Hitting student is one of the biggest crime under the policies of the school. When I was there, I was told not to hit any students no matter what they do. Well, I agreed on that but the very next day, I saw the officer in charge was hitting a student and principal. Although this policy was only for the teachers but not for the management. STRANGE!

Maybe these are just a few points, but all these three points carry a large number of questions that need to be asked by yourself such as whether or not the school has professional and educated teachers to whom my child seeks knowledge from? Whether or not my child is fairly capable of passing with good grades? Similar to these questions, many others would be raised if these crimes at schools don’t stop from occurring.

We all are responsible for the education system but it’s the blindfold on our eyes that restricts us to be unaware of this system that will lead our children or maybe our future children towards the lack of quality education and a waste of money.
