Speed thrills, but kills. This saying has more meaning to what meets the eyes when a signboard comes on the highway or any other road. In Pakistan, according to reports, 15 people die daily across the country because of road traffic accidents in the country.
The other day, an accident took place in Islamabad, which took away three bright souls from us, including Zeeshan Hussain. The young boy hailed from Nagar Valley Gilgit-Baltistan, while two of his friends were from Islamabad.

Driving a Civic Reborn in the wee hours of the night, Zeeshan couldn’t control his speed and the trio met a terrible accident which served as their last ride. The great tragedy teaches us how our kids need to be taught about speed control and responsibility of life. Not only did Zeeshan take his own life, but became the reason two of his friends left this world as well.
Zeeshan was the son of PML-N leader Haji Fidda Hussain from Nagar, Gilgit-Baltistan. Even though the kids were not under the influence of anything, the plague of over-speeding on empty roads became the reason for their untimely departure from this world.
Friends and family of Zeeshan Hussain and his two unnamed friends poured in their condolences after the tragic incident. People on social media also urged other young-bloods of the country to take a lesson out of the incident and not get carried away while on the steering wheel.

It is the parents’ diligence to know what their kids are capable of. Handing them fast cars, alone, knowing their nature, can turn detrimental for them and their families. We urge every young and hyper soul of the country to drive slow, and take care of their lives and that of the people who travel with them.
