It’s true that we do not value life, we value ‘money’, ‘status’, ‘beauty’, etc. We know the pain, the consequences yet we choose to neglect it because ‘there’s nothing we can do about it’. Yeah, absolutely right. Then comes the phase where we suffer, go through hardships and realize the intensity of pain but it’s too late. With everything going around, every sick tradition followed in our society, we give up because we feel helpless.
This time, I’m talking about Palestine. Everyone knows about it, the bombardment, attacks, poverty, deaths and so much we might not be aware of. A child lost his father, cries every day in his remembrance. A mother lost her son, her husband and is now left all alone in this world wondering why should she live now? There’s no reason left.
The Holy month of Ramadan is here but they are not only deprived of the essential supplies but a fear rests deep inside their heart, they don’t know if they’ll be alive the next day, if you’re going to see that child, mother, father or any of your loved one tomorrow because a piece of shell can strike him and he’s gone, forever. And some of us tend to stay away from these matters because only the thought of it trembles our body when we put ourselves in their shoes and go through the excruciating pain-we lose.
Israel’s territory, their right. Such a filthy statement, honestly.
The Muslims are labeled as ‘terrorists’, we create chaos in the world. Well, I don’t see that, I’ve never seen that. In this particular case, they are dying and from what I have observed; no one really cares. Everything, everything has been taking away from them. Some might have even lost the desire to live and why wouldn’t they? How would you feel when your city is on fire, you have no person with you, you are deprived of food, the enemy’s always attacking and you’ve witnessed several massacres, right in front of your eyes?
No one’s standing up for them, no political leaders, country because their lives don’t matter. It’s not about a religion, it’s about humanity. How they are living in exile, they’re deprived of food, water, electricity, jobs, a will to live and family. Their freedom is neglected, their presence/absence doesn’t matter or maybe they are not even acknowledged as human beings because the way they are being killed daily portrays the inhumane aspect of this wide assassination.
May Allah help them, remember them in your prayers.
