The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has planned to hold an quetta exhibition match between Babar XI and Sarfaraz XI in Quetta’s Bugti Stadium on February 5 which is recognised as “Kashmir Day” nationally.
Najam Sethi, the chairman of the PCB management committee, had earlier declared Quetta as the fifth location to host the PSL’s eighth season.

Team Yellow, which includes players like Shahid Afridi, Wahab Riaz, Mohammad Haris, Danish Aziz, and Saim Ayub, will be led by Babar Azam. For Team Purple, led by Sarfaraz Ahmed, Mohammad Hasnain, Naseem Shah, and Umar Akmal will be present along with Iftikhar Ahmed who recently smashed his first BPL T20 century.
On February 13, Multan will host the opening ceremony and the first game of the eighth season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL8), according to the head of the management committee for the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Najam Sethi.
The opening PSL8 game will take place on Multan Sultans’ home field versus Lahore Qalandars, the reigning champions.
The competition is slated to take place in four locations—Karachi, Lahore, Multan, and Rawalpindi—from February 13 to March 19.
