On 22nd of April, the Higher Education Commission issued a notice against enrolling in Al-Khair University in Azad Jammu and Kashmir. This wasn’t the first time the HEC took action against any university and removed them from the list of recognized universities in Pakistan.

After this tweet was shared a number of students who had been a part of the Al-Khair University requested the commission to allow attestation of those who have already completed their program.

While students are still facing issues in terms of getting the worth of their degrees and the money they have spent, HEC has announced 3 additional universities which are not recognized anymore.
Addition to Al-Khair University, following are 3 new ones:
Preston Institute of Management Sciences and Technology (PIMSAT) in Karachi,
Global Institute in Lahore
Imperial College of Business Studies in Lahore

Students of these Institutes are Raising Questions Regarding their Future

The HEC, however, hasn’t been much Helpful in this Regards Either

Students are waiting to hear back from HEC and on the other hand, the universities have not issued any statements regarding this matter.
Pakistan is a developing country – we need more opportunities and more educated students who can shine and make the future of this country. If we continue giving them no jobs and such education system where they waste 4 years of education, it will result in intense failure.
