Moreover, in 2015, a railway bridge in Gujranwala collapsed which killed 15 army officers. Similarly, in 2018 at Landhi station Karachi, a 35-year-old was hit by a train who died on site.

Pakistan railway was founded in 1861, 157 years ago, it is a federal institution with a headquarter in Lahore. Current railway minister, Sheikh Rashid has vowed to enhance the capabilities of Pakistan railway saying that he will employee 10,000 people and add more trains to the institution.
The truth of the incident is still shrouded, was it a mistake of Pakistan railway or the deceased ladies? Whoever’s fault it was, the family of the departed are paying for it. Such accidents have long-term psychological effects on the loved ones. It is never easy to lose a beloved; especially, in such heinous way.

If the incident occurred owing to the negligence of the government, it should accept its fault and work for the betterment of the railway. Maybe the incident happened due to non-availability of a barricade on railway crossing? Multiple railway crossings in Pakistan aren’t well equipped to obstruct people.
On the contrary, maybe the accident was occurred due to the reckless attitude of the departed souls. If this is the case, people should get aware of the repercussions they face after a careless crossing of the railway track. Furthermore, Our society has failed in educating the masses on trivial matters. In Pakistan, though many people have nothing important to do, they are always in rush.
