Lt. Taha Notkani Baloch’s tragic demise proves that our soldiers, even though ready to sacrifice their lives for the country, are just as human as us. Lt. Taha surely had great swimming skills, but unfortunately, it was the water that became the reason for his death.

However, intelligence agencies and the Pakistan Army must investigate as to what really happened. Who was with Lt. Taha when he drowned in the River Indus? How were they not able to help him? Why is there no official statement on the incident? All these questions demand answers.

As for Lt. Taha Notkani Baloch, may he find the best corner in Paradise (Jannah) and may Allah Almighty provide sabr to his grieving family. Inna Lillahi wa Inna Illaihi Rajiun.
