Traveling by air was meant to be the most secure way until recently. We’re all eyes and ears about the corruption that goes around us but this one is shocking. A handsome amount of money of a guy was stolen from his bag at The Jinnah International Airport and things have gotten pretty serious.
Usman Raza Siddiqui claims that he took off at 3:30 am on January 23rd, 2019 from The Jinnah International Airport and his hard-earned $7085 were stolen from his handbag. Usman claims that the ASF Security is the real culprit.
The poor guy lost Rs. 10 lakhs, and he wants to be heard
He further includes that this dreadful incident happened when he went to the second checkpoint after immigration, he was taken to a different security point and his bag was taken away from him too. This is when the ASF officials did the mission impossible.
Usman states that he had three envelopes in his bag which added to $7085. the first, second and third envelopes had $3385, $2000 and $1700 respectively and were hidden too in the bag. Well, this it is indeed a regretful incident and really shouldn’t have happened. But I have a question circulating my mind since the moment I heard this story.
How about a locked handbag having thousands of dollars?
Furthermore, he concludes that the 1st envelope having the most money had none left in it but had empty book pages and the money changing receipt that was present with the money instead. This sounds like those Hindi movies where the robber always leaves his signature! ‘BHARAM bhi tou dikhaney hain..

He tells that he wasn’t taken to any room and everything happened right away when he was distracted by the officials. The money in the 2nd and the 3rd envelopes was also replaced by several 1$ bills.

In the very end, Mr. Usman very generously appealed to the Prime Minister Imran Khan to investigate this matter and secure every single corner of the airport so that the travelers don’t go through such problems again. He is also sure that the CCTV footage will disclose the culprits as the scene happened in the same area.
We, at Parhlo, hope that this matter gets investigated as soon as possible and Usman Sahab gets his hard cash back. One more thing, we also hope that he doesn’t forget to lock his handbag next time.
