Mushahid Shah Stands At ‘4th In The World’ In Pre-International Polar Event Voting

You might not know what an international polar event is, but for Mushahid Shah it is more than just a competition. This expeditious Pakistani dreams of becoming the first Pakistani to participate in the Fjällräven Polar 2018, but for that to happen, he needs your votes.

Fjällräven Polar is a one of its kind adventurous expedition which is held in Switzerland every year. Mushahid Shah dreams of participating in the event, but for that, he needs his country’s support to be able to qualify, as per rules of the competition. Even though he currently stands at ‘4th in the World’, thanks to your votes, the process, however, still has not ended.

Fjällräven Polar is a 300 km long journey, where a dogsled is used and only the most seasoned explorers from around the world make it to the finish line. This year, the event will take place in April. To be a part of the expedition, there’s a global voting process which helps people to vote for their favorite explorers. For the first time, a Pakistani has desired of being in the competition as well, subject to how many votes he gets.

Mushahid is a Computer Science graduate but an avid adventurer, mountaineer, hiker and rock/wall-climber who has won gold, silver and bronze medals on different occasions. Exploring the world and meeting new people is one of his passions.
