As water is an integral part of one’s daily necessities, its proper use is also a responsibility for the drinker. Since the world is going short of water with every moment passing by, several first world countries have taken cautious steps and are continuously working to not get affected by the shortage in future. Whereas, developing countries (mostly Asian) are still figuring out ways to save the country from the definite water shortage in the coming years.
Where Pakistan as a country is facing a hard time currently, the citizens are looking upon Imran Khan to deliver what he had promised. Some major changes and developments can be seen since Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) came into power and Pakistanis are hopeful. But the growing inflation and law and order situation has now made Pakistanis question the choice they’ve made in the past elections.
Imran Khan has discussed the water crisis several times before, considering it to be a huge issue that needs to be resolved. The construction of Mohmand Dam and Diamer Bhasha Dam has also been the highlight every time. He even approached the Chief Justice of Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar (former) to start a fundraising campaign for the dam. As Pakistan already owns the title of the ‘most charitable country’, Pakistanis didn’t hold back this time either and donated whole-heartedly.
Last Sunday, PM Imran Khan attended the groundbreaking ceremony of Mohmand Dam which is to be constructed on the Swat River. Ex-Chief Justice of Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar was also present at the event. Federal Minister for Water Resources Faisal Vawda initiated the ceremony and thanked the Prime Minister for pushing him and his team forward and motivating them.
A video following the event was uploaded on PM Imran Khan’s official Facebook page and Pakistanis are happy:
Pakistanis were satisfied with this act and praised the Prime Minister for his effort and dedication towards the country. Hopes are high and people are looking forward to the time when Pakistan will prosper again. The responses on the tweets were positive and showed their love for their PM.
Following the event a tweet from PTI’s official handle made Pakistanis feel positive and the replies are amazing.

The condition of Pakistan may not be stable currently but with the leadership of such envisioned individuals and supportive awaam, it will definitely rise above the dark.
