According to the world population clock, the current population of the world is 7.7 billion. As per the statistics of the Business Insider, in the world, only 1542 people are billionaires and 36 million people are millionaires. It means 1542 people have something which the others lack seriously!
Many people aspired to become rich to have all the luxuries of the world and to live a sumptuous life, but very few are able to fulfill their dreams. The question arises what matters the most in determining one’s success or what makes one rich. To answer to that we are showcasing 5 ways which can make one truly rich and triumphant.
1. Practice Gratitude
The word gratitude is enriched with the positive vibes, it enables one to think positively even in the most negative scenarios. All the religions, significantly Islam, has shed light upon the concept of gratitude in the following words: “Why should God make you suffer torment if you are thankful and believe in Him? God always rewards gratitude and He knows everything” (Quran, 4:147). Gratitude leads to complacency which in retrospect ignites the flame of peace which leads to utter success by making one a determinant decision taker.
2. Change your approach
Imagine if a person is wearing yellow spectacles, everything he sees will become yellow for him. In the same manner, our perspective about how we take things that occur in our life matters the most in our success. Nelson Mandella got jailed for long 27 years, he viewed it as an opportunity, he planned, he endured and drove his thoughts in such a way that made him President of South Africa. He could have ruined his chances by paying heed towards the bleakness of the jail and thinking about 27 years of imprisonment, but he took the sentence as an opportunity. Hence, it is not incidents that matter in life but how we see them and tackle them determines of success.
3. Your company matters
Being a social animal, a man is bound to have social relationships, but the success of a man relies upon what social company he keeps. If one is surrounded by people with a pessimistic mindset, one can never reach the zenith of triumph. Similarly, if one keeps the company of those who are successful in life that company would inculcate optimism which would make one rich!
. Generosity and the art of giving
It is the law of nature when one gives a lot, nature pays in a similar fashion. Those who hide knowledge and do not help the needy are perfect examples of gloom-ridded people. Therefore, those who give actually gain, gain in terms of prayers, happiness and it puts them in the good books of others.
5. Consistency is key
Consistency is the key to victory. No person has ever achieved greatness with an inconsistent mentality. Once the decision has been taken or the goal has been set, one must follow it arduously, because hey, the sky is the limit!
Most importantly, be kind, humble and never let anyone quench your thirst of knowledge as more the knowledge more the power!
