POTATO LOVERS AND FOODIES UNITE!

You guys are in for a pleasant surprise that would leave your stomachs a little too full and smiles a little too broad. But first, who doesn’t love french fries? If you don’t, let us know so we can disown you. Nah, just kidding. This potato squad needs its fries with everything, literally. Burger with FRIES. Steak with FRIES on the side. Movie night? FRIES. Midnight snack? FRIES. Any occasion or time, our eyes will hunt and gobble them down.

Let’s not even begin with the largest debate – Sauce on top or on the side for dipping? I’m with the opinion that it’s a DIPPING sauce, you need to dip your fries and not smear the sauce all over them. That’s messy! (You may fight me on this in the comment section, I’ll be waiting!)

Pakistan has a lot of fast food and fine dining restaurants that serve great quality fries to satisfy the true food critic in us. Let’s not forget the street vendors and their masalay daar fries that every Pakistani kid grew up on and pretty sure to this day, now adults, indulge in those every once in a while.

So, you are wondering what’s the catch? Here’s the deal. A restaurant in Karachi SMCHS (Sindhi Muslim Cooperating Housing Society) is having a mega fries challenge and the deal is sort of like a double-edged sword if I must add.

Here’s What The Competition Is About:

You will be served a massive 2.5 KG fries..wait for it.. filled with meat, chicken, and sauce. A team of four people maximum is what you can have. If you are able to finish in twenty minutes, you win nothing (*BA DUM TSS*) which isn’t a bad deal either since it is basically free food. But if failed, you will have to pay 5000 rupees plus additional tax money. Risky? Or are you confident in your foodie spirit?

That’s a lot of fries even for four people but this is the whole point of the competition, isn’t it? So what do you think?
