Rape, all over the world, is condemned and thought of as the worst possible crime, against humanity and laws of the nature. To force someone into a physical experience is not just considered extremely taboo and wrong in the word, but will bear fruits of evil in the hereafter as well.
Just before the year ended, an extremely tragic event has taken place in Multan. As reported by Express News, a 25-year-old woman was gang-raped in Multan, after dacoits entered a man’s house to rob it clean.
The incident took place inside a house in Mateetal Road, which comes under the jurisdiction of Peetal police station. 5 armed robbers entered a house early morning through the main door, putting the family in extreme panic. The dacoits then locked the owner of the house, Mr. Zulfiqar, inside a room and went on to steal money, jewelry and other valuables which belonged to the family.
However, even though theft and robbery is a huge crime, it still isn’t as huge as the punishment that one deserves for rape. The 5 armed robbers then took the man’s 25-year-old wife by force and gang-raped her, while her husband was locked inside the room.
An FIR has been lodged against 5 unknown men and police is currently on the look out to arrest them. The raped woman has been admitted in a local hospital after the mental and physical trauma she has gone through.
According to the woman’s husband, the dacoits took Rs. 30,000 cash along with other valuables worth Rs. 1 lakh. The man also said that he doesn’t care about what he has lost in terms of money, but what happened to his wife was uncalled for and is against humanity. The culprits must be brought to justice and given the worst possible punishment for this inhumane act.
