Courts all over the world are known for their unique and strange decisions. In some countries, judges go out of the box with their decisions, which soon become viral news. A similar incident has happened in the metropolitan city of Pakistan, Karachi.

The Karachi City Court came across a case where a man was accused of carrying illegal weapons, which have been banned all across the country. At being presented in front of the judge, the culprit was given a sentence that nobody in the court, including him expected.

As per the details by news channels, the man who was arrested carrying illegal weapons was ordered to pray ‘Namaz Ba Jamaat’ for 3 years! Yes, you read that correctly. His punishment was to pray Namaz at a mosque with the complete jamaat, in order to have his sentence fulfilled.

If he failed to miss even a single prayer, the court would then charge him Rs. 50,000 and a jail sentence of 7 years! For the confirmation, the Imam of the mosque would be reporting directly to the judge.

One Imam who spoke to Samaa TV said that maybe this way, people would gain some ‘sawab’ and also not carry illegal weapons. He said it was best for both the worlds.
