Ever since the Pakistan Muslim League – N came to power 5 years ago, there’s been constant bad blood between them and the opposition party, the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaaf. In the last 5 years, people of Pakistan have seen both parties at the loggerheads, mudslinging at each other, in a bid to gain power and support from the public.
During the course of time, there have been brutal incidents and clashes between the two and their members. The biggest victory for PTI came when they successfully ousted the former prime minister of the country, Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, in the Panamagate scandal.
However, since the event, the PML-N has gone rogue against PTI and some of its members continue slandering the PTI woman, making negative remarks which are not going well with the general public. In a show of power, Abid Sher Ali took it upon himself to make sexist and harassing remarks against PTI’s front woman Shireen Mazari.
In his native language Punjabi, Abid Sher Ali talked about giving the stick to Shireen Mazari and Murad Saeed, both who are members of the PTI. While the crowd roared at his negative remarks, the people who were to see the video later on weren’t as excited. He kept calling her ‘tractor-trolley’ as once his party member Khwaja Asif referred to her.

The worst bit came when he recalled an incident where Shireen Mazari had asked him to ‘not touch her’ and to this, he replied that she didn’t have anything that deserved to be touched. The sexist and misogynist remarks are being lamented across different social media platforms.
