After years of struggle and hard work, Pakistan is on its way to becoming a better nation. But is that really so? because cases like that of Balochistan Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) Abdul Majeed Achakzai is still a big question mark on our judicial system. The MPA has recently been released after been accused of running over a policeman in Quetta.
On 20th June, Haji Attaaullah the Traffic Sub-Inspector was killed on GPO Chowk when Achakzai ran over him while driving a Land Cruiser. On Thursday the Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PkMAP) lawmaker has been bailed after the anti-terrorism court heard the case and asked him to submit 0.5 million PKR surety bond.
Soon after the video of the incident spread like a fire on the internet, Achakzai was immediately indicted by the session court but the charges again him weren’t accepted.
