The top political leadership of Pakistan, government officials, and media personalities gathered at the foot of scenic Margalla Hills last week to celebrate the valima ceremony of Pakistan’s senior journalist and famous news anchorperson Hamid Mir’s son – Arfat Mir.
Among the political notable personalities, ex-President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari, PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, JUI Leader Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman, BNP leader Akhtar Mengal, CM Sindh Murad Ali Shah, Information Minister Fawad Chaudhary, President of Pakistan Arif Alvi and others were invited. The household TV anchors including Mehr Bukhari, Kashif Abbasi, Amir Mateen, Rana Jawad, and many others attended the reception. DG ISPR Major General Ghafoor was also invited to the event.
