Just last week, the stirring controversial death of a cab driver in Islamabad created an outrage on the roads of the city. The homicide took place in the federal capital of the city when a Careem cab captain was found dead at Street 79, Sector G-13/1.
26-year-old Junaid Mustafa was driving Careem for three months. He took a ride at 2:35 am from F11 Markaz in Islamabad. The ride ended at 2:58 am when the murderer shot Junaid multiple times, threw away his body and ran away with Junaid’s WagonR and his 2 mobile phones. The murderer, however, has now been captured by the authorities.
While this news was indeed extremely shocking, another similar story was seen floating on the social media.

Information of the local was not shared by the Facebook page but this is how they narrated the event:
The targeting of #Careem captains is still going on, 2 days ago a 21 years old #JunaidMustafa #CareemCaptain was shot dead in G 13, and here comes another sad news, this guy is bieng beaten badly by those who booked the ride,
#Careem if you can not prioritize the safety of captains, please windup this till you reach a proper solution.. Extremely Depressing
