Ever since the issue between Pakistan and India rose after the Pulwama incident, there has been some undying heat between the two countries. From memes to tweets to verbal arguments – the Pulwama incident is now the topic of discussion for the masses.
However, in this chaotic situation, the highlight of the entire scenario was when the captured Indian pilot Vikram Abhinandad was released by PM Imran Khan on the 1st March as a sign of peace offering while Indians still struggle to ‘show Pakistan its place.’

After witnessing that PM Imran Khan has forwarded the olive branch towards India, a motion was submitted in Pakistan’s National Assembly Secretariat on Saturday calling for Prime Minister Imran Khan to be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for his role in «defusing» tensions between New Delhi and Islamabad.

Moreover, British Prime Minister Theresa May in a phone conversation on Sunday lauded Prime Minister Imran Khan for reducing strains between India and Pakistan.
According to reports, PM Imran had spoken to his British counterpart and welcomed his decision to release the Indian pilot Abhinandan as a gesture of peace.

However, recently, PM Imran Khan took Twitter to share his views on this entire situation stating, «I am not worthy of the Nobel Peace Prize. The person worthy of this would be the one who solves the Kashmir issue according to the wishes of the Kashmiri people and paves the way for peace & human development in the subcontinent.»
