Thalassemia is an inherited blood disorder in which the body makes an abnormal form of hemoglobin. The disorder results in excessive destruction of red blood cells, which leads to anemia. Anemia is a condition in which your body doesn’t have enough normal, healthy red blood cells.
Thalassemia is inherited, meaning that at least one of your parents must be a carrier of the disease. It’s caused by either a genetic mutation or a deletion of certain key gene fragments. According to research, this disease affects approximately 4.4 of every 10,000 live births throughout the world and not everyone wins the battle of life.

We’d like to bring it to your attention that there’s someone out there who is combatting with this deadly disease and you can try and help out!
An Uber Bike driver has a five-year-old daughter who is suffering from Thalassemia. The little girl needs a bottle of blood twice a week. An organization is bearing all the expenses but he has to buy the filter by himself that cost 3700 Rs. Sadly, he is unable to give proper time to his unwell daughter and his work since no company would allow longer leaves frequently. He’s in dire need of help.
You can try and support him as much as you can and if possible spread the word too. Let’s began this New Year with performing such good deeds!
Moreover, regular blood transfusions are the only treatment available to patients with Thalassemia. It allows Thalassemia patients to live relatively normal lives, however, a cure remains to be found for this disease.
He is getting it in 1000 Rs. He can’t do job bcz he has to give time to his daughter n no company allows 7 or 8 holidays in a month. He needs our help. Try to help him in every possible way. You can call him and get the update.

Most Thalassemia major patients require transfusions every 2-4 weeks, depending on the individual’s consumption of the infused cells. While regular transfusions greatly contribute to the quality and length of life of Thalassemia major patients, they also leave patients with an excess of iron in their bodies.
