A senior party leader of India’s far-right Hindu group Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Indresh Kumar said on Saturday that Pakistan will become a part of India in 2025. While addressing a gathering on ‘Kashmir-Way Ahead’ in Mumbai, Indresh said ‘a Bhartiya Union of Akhand Bharat on the lines of European Union can take shape’.

“Aap likh kar lijiye 5-7 saal bad aap kaheen Karachi, Lahore, Rawalpindi, Sialkot mein makan kharidenge aur business kerne ka mauka milega (You can take it in writing that after five-seven years, you will get a chance to buy a house or do business in Lahore, Karachi, Rawalpindi)”, added Indresh. He also said that “There was no Pakistan before 1947. People say it was a part of Hindustan [India] before 1945. It will again be a part of Hindustan after 2025.”

The supporters of Akhand Bharat call for the unification of India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh along with Bhutan, Nepal, Afghanistan, and Burma. Being a supporter of the movement, Indresh expressed his wish for the unification of India and Pakistan. However, he didn’t elaborate on how the merger will take place but surprisingly, he revealed that Bangladesh is in support of Akhand Bharat.

“The Indian government has taken a tough line on Kashmir issue for the first time. This is because the Army acts on political willpower, and now, the political willpower has changed. So, we have dreams of settling in Lahore and not needing permission from China to go to Mansarovar. We have ensured a government in Dhaka of our liking… A Bharatiya Union of Akhand Bharat on the lines of European Union can take shape,” said Indresh Kumar during his address in Mumbai.

RSS leader Indresh Kumar also talked about Pak-China relationship while addressing the gathering. He said that China is trying to grab Pakistan internationally that’s why China is supporting them financially as we can see the progress in the Pak-China Economic Corridor (CPEC). “China supports Pakistan because we have beaten them in Doklam which is why it made Chinese angry”, said Indresh.

He raised a question on the special status given to Indian Occupied Kashmir. Indresh asked why is there a separate constitution, flag, and citizenship for Jammu and Kashmir. “The entire country is open to all Kashmiris, then why is Kashmir not open to all Hindustanis? And if Mumbai is open to all Kashmiris, then why is Kashmir not open to all Mumbaikars?”, asked Indresh.

It seems that Indian politicians are politicizing the tension between India and Pakistan. The tongue slip and making false claims in public to grab the attention in the pre-election campaign is not a new thing. A few days ago Narendra Modi ‘mistakenly’ called Kochi – a city in Kerala Karachi while addressing in Jamnagar. Let’s see what other plans Modi and his bhakts have for being in the news till elections!
