If there’s one country that the Pakistani diaspora prefers over any other, it’s Canada. Students, businessmen, traders and any other person who is ambitious enough to chase growth, prefers leaving Pakistan for the West, preferably, to homely places like Canada.
Every year, thousands of students apply in Canadian universities for admissions, along with businessmen looking for opportunities to take their assets to the next level. Thus, the news of relaxation in the visa process and immigration to Canada for Pakistanis should be well appreciated.
According to various sources, the Pakistani High Commissioner to Canada, Mr. Tariq Azim Khan hosted a dinner in honor of the Canadian Minister for Immigration in Canada’s capital city Ottawa to talk about the lenient movement for Pakistanis in the country.
During the dinner, both diplomats discussed difficulties that Pakistanis face applying for a Canadian visa, be it, students or businessmen. Thousands of students from Pakistan apply for courses in Canadian universities, with majority failing to secure admission or visa. The biggest issue these students face is the lengthy process of acquiring their visas.
