Usually, intra-injustice is deliberated in homo-sapiens as they are premeditated superior to other varmints pursuant to mentality. There are hospitals, courts, shelter and many other amenities to subsist with the provocation they are cladding from the first day of extent. While inter-injustice is snubbed which subjugate between animals and human and locution like extinct and endangered are instigate as a ramification of this confrontation. Substantially, survival of the fittest is the terminology capitalized for animals but humans have refined in novel years not only for endurance but also to remold the level of affluence. In that case, there are two types of animals, wild and domesticated animals. [adinserter block="3"] Humans consider wild animals as their antagonist as they are somehow treacherous only if they feel unassertive and it is even flaw of humans to convulse their disposition. Wild animals are truncating swiftly. Deforestation, over-hunting, pollution, climate change, human population antipathy are the causes of alleviation in life expectancy of wild animals. The decimation of wild animals from the ecosystem would be like a garden without flowers. Wild animals have aesthetic taste in themselves which inveigle other according to their belle. [caption id="attachment_164843" align="aligncenter" width="500"] Source: Cornell Chronicle[/caption] According to facts, Americans spend 18 billion dollars just to watch wildlife. Moreover, they maintain the predator-prey relationship. Wild animals are the cause of investment of billion dollars in related countries for research. More than 50% of modern medicine and 90% of orthodox medicine are derived from wild animals. To fortify wildlife, many organizations are playing a key role. It includes WILDLIFE CONSERVATION SOCIETY, PAWS, WILDLIFE ALLIANCE, WWF, AFRICAN WILDLIFE FOUNDATION, DEFENDERS OF WILDLIFE and many more. The domesticated animals are somehow venerated in human community as they provide some incentives in form of food and is the provenance of the economy for the majority of the population. Every year, 600 million tonnes of cow milk is produced. In 2017, 262.8 million metric tons of meat is produced in the world. Major milk production is in Asian countries like India and Pakistan. There is a circulation system from a village to a city. Same is the case with meat in case of the poultry sector. [caption id="attachment_164844" align="aligncenter" width="500"] Source: masrawy.com[/caption] Pakistan is the 11th largest poultry(chicken) producer in the world. It contributes 26.8% in total meat production and 1.26% of total GDP. Cattle farming in developed areas is also endorsed. But the major population of domesticated animals is still in far-off areas where disease factor is dominating. Neonatal and mortality rate is highest in Pakistan. More than 25% of animals suffering from mastitis disease. This is just because of the lack of education among people related to this field. Irrelevant methods and unhealthy nutrition are leading to many diseases. Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD), anthrax, rabies, brucellosis, avian influenza and Crimean Congo Haemorrhagic Fever are prevailing in Pakistan. The treatment is available but those who treat are not available. They are called veterinarians but spurning their urgency, unfortunately, a comic term “DANGER DOCTOR” is used for these noble critters in Pakistan and Indian region. They are not proffered with incentives and dignity what they actually deserve in agricultural countries like Pakistan. [caption id="attachment_164845" align="aligncenter" width="500"] Source: University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences[/caption] According to surveys, more than 150 million domestic animals are present in Pakistan. To cope with the challenges in this sector, only 19 institutes are offering Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) and less than 10 livestock research centers are working in Pakistan. The private sector is working efficiently but the government sector is not providing jobs to the graduates. Due to social and government ignorance, this sector is not organized. Only Pakistan Veterinary And Medical Council (PVMC) is handling this sector. While in countries like USA, Canada, Australia, Malaysia, China, Brazil and the European Union are leading in livestock. One of the best institutes includes University of California(USA), Royal Veterinary College(UK), University of Sydney(Australia) and University of Copenhagen(Denmark). There is the total of 500 best veterinary universities in the world. The professional students are not only much respected in their community but they are also provided with the platform to groom their skills in the government sector. According to the 2013 survey, In USA an Animal care veterinarian gets $105,000/year basic pay. There is a positive job outlook(12% growth over the next 10 years). There is a strong business and social network for them. In the UK, starting salary of the veterinarian is 30,000 pounds/year. An Australian veterinarian gets AU$30/hr.While in Pakistan, the average salary is 864PKR/hr. So here, students prefer to walk out of the country rather than working in a zoo or a for 45,000/month. [adinserter block="4"] The need of the hour is to upheave the social and economic status of veterinary and anchor on wildlife to save nature. There must be aware at the undergraduate level of education to ensure the importance of this field. The government pays maximum incentives to attract minds towards this era. Different seminars should be organized at town level in order to realize the importance of professional veterinarians rather than quacks. Institutions offering livestock courses must be well-equipped and animals should be provided for experiments. Research work should be actuated in all provinces. The livestock sector should be given a federal status rather than divisions. Techniques should be applied in order to reduce dry periods in calving intervals to promote growth and milk production. There must be a proper evaluation system for milk and meat in the market under the supervision of veterinarians.
