Many parents focus attention on their children’s grades and extracurricular activities, such as by making sure kids study, do their homework, and get to tuitions. But all too often, we forget to put time and effort into nurturing another component of child success and development – one that is just as important, and perhaps even more essential, than good grades, awards, and trophies – being a good person.
Although, it’s not just about making your child a better person, its also making it sure that YOU are a role model for them and treat them with respect.
Recently, we came across a video where a child was held as a ‘qaidi’ and was mistreated by his mother severely!
We don’t have a lot of details regarding the video. People used Twitter to express their emotions after the video went viral!

One user stated that she may be a stepmother
It’s just sad that parents sometimes forget to use the right tactics to discipline their kids and behave like this! There’s a difference between discipline and ‘ziyadti’ and if this mother isn’t mentally unstable, she’s doing her child wrong and should actually be put behind bars or at least this matter should be taken into consideration!
In Pakistan sadly we don’t have any child protection system and that’s why parents tend to be unfair to kids. There should be child protection services that help kids. So when a child is deemed to be at immediate risk, the CPS worker can take the child from their home and place them with a foster family. There are many ways to discipline kids, but this video proves that her’s was a bad idea.
