Pakistan is a country, where most people are confused, if they’re good people or not. We, genuinely, as a population, act hypocritically without intention mostly. We are the same people who condemn the rape and murder of 7-year-old Zainab Ansari, while we’re also the same people that do not give proper attention to children.
We are the law and law breakers, we are in an endless state of confusion. Since the last two days, a video has been going viral on social media, where a policeman in uniform can be seen publicly mishandling a very young girl. As seen in the video, the little girl was sitting on a motorbike, when a policeman grabbed her by the arm and threw her to the ground.

The incident took place in Sialkot, showcased sub-inspector Tahir. The dispute was between the father of the child and his relatives, when police was called. When the police arrived, they started misbehaving with the family. Not only the girl, but the person recording the video was thrashed later on both physically and verbally.
After the video went viral on social media, Chief Minister Punjab, Mian Shehbaz Sharif also took notice of the incident, along with other high-up officials. The DPO Sialkot was then ordered to suspend sub-inspector Tahir for his rogue attitude towards the little girl, who had done nothing wrong but sit on a motorbike.
«The police officer in question has been suspended. Disrespect shown by any person in uniform towards the public will not be tolerated,» said the DPO Sialkot.
This is how people reacted to the incident on social media and got behind the sub-inspector’s suspension

What Punjab police did today in Sialkot shows why people hate police!
Haraam kah kr, haramiyo k nokar hotey hain yeh. Inko kisi chez ka lehaz nhi. Ehsas mar jata hai haram se aur nashay se. Inn police walo ka bhi wqt aye ga.— Usama Usmani (@usama02) March 15, 2018
